Add the connector

Open claude.ai → Add custom connector, name it MadHatter, paste the URL, and click Add. Leave the OAuth fields blank.

Claude Code instead? One command (uses your key):

Connect & sign in

Click Connect → you're sent to MadHatter → approve. Then just ask: “Make a character sheet for a 1920s sea captain.”

Agents read the docs at madhatter.site/llms.txt · keys are shown once and revocable in MCP & CLI settings · the ?key= URL form is for clients without header support — give it a dedicated key with a daily cap.
